The original Dupla
Ney Valle is the partner responsible for strategy and the relationship with customers. Claudia Gamboa is the Creative Director and responsible for the design. Together, they conceptualize and structure the work. They always take the lead of the projects and are close to the clients. Both believe that only direct contact allows a deep understanding of the characteristics and needs of the brands with which they engage. This proximity makes Dupla Design translate customer values and aspirations into results that have inspired, impacted, and thrilled people for more than twenty-five years. After developing the 360 degree branding of the Rio 2007 Pan and Parapan-American Games, being the Design Agency of the Brazilian Olympic Committee for four years, and actively participating in the communication work of Rio’s bid to host the Rio 2016 Games, Ney Valle and Claudia Gamboa were invited to structure the internal design team of the Rio 2016 Committee and develop the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games Design Program, a six-year project.

Recognition
The work of Dupla Design has been exhibited, published, and recognized both in Brazil and around the world. We participated in the last Brazilian Biennial of Graphic Design and won several international awards. In 2013 we won the IF Design Award, the “Oscar of Design”, and the German Design Award for the ArtRio project. That same year we also won the Rebrand for the repositioning of the International Naïf Art Museum of Brazil.
